The Professional Insurance Agents Associations of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut announced that they have selected candidates for the National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award, organized by the Society of Certified Insurance Representatives (CISR).
The PIANY’s candidate is Theresa Patterson, API, CISR, a personal lines account executive with The Morley Agency Inc., Southhampton, N.Y. She is currently pursuing the designations of CIC and CPCU.
Janet Stiles, CISR, senior customer service representative, Commerce National Insurance Services Inc. In Cherry Hill will represent New Jersey’s insurance representatives.
Kimberly Tompkins, AIS, PHM, ACSR, CPIW, a commercial lines customer service representative with Associated Insurance Agencies, in Hamden, Conn., will represent that state in the nationwide search for the Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year. She also is a member of the Young Insurance Professionals and the National Association of Insurance Women.
The announcement by the state PIA organizations indicated that each candidate would receive a “certificate of achievement” to accompany their nomination. The national winner receives a $1,000 cash award, a gold and diamond pin, and a scholarship awarded in their name to the Associated Insurance Agencies.
