Lloyd’s announced the appointment of Guy-Antoine De La Rochefoucauld as the new Country Manager for its French office, effective the 7th of December.
The bulletin noted that he “has over 25 years experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry with extensive contacts in the French market. Before joining Lloyd’s, Mr. de La Rochefoucauld was the Head of HSBC Insurance Brokers in Paris, and has also worked for AIG Europe and Sturge – a previous Lloyd’s Non-Life syndicate.”
Enrico Bertagna, Lloyd’s European Regional Manager, welcomed De La Rochefoucauld to Lloyd’s, indicating that his “experience across insurance, reinsurance, loss adjusting and broking will be a great benefit to our French office and we look forward to working with him in the future.”
De La Rochefoucauld noted that he has “had a relationship with Lloyd’s for many years, so I am pleased to take up this new role.” I very much look forward to working with the team in London and Paris, as well as the other European offices to build on the work that has already been achieved.”
