Cooper Gay Australia, the Sydney based reinsurance broker, announced that Jon Calverley will be assuming the responsibilities of managing director, effective immediately.
The bulletin noted that he “will be key to expanding the growth of Cooper Gay’s business in Australia and New Zealand.”
Prior to joining Cooper Gay in 2006, Calverley worked at JLT Risks Solutions in both Sydney and London.
Stephen Britten, Regional Managing Director of Cooper Gay Asia Pacific indicated how please he was that Calverley had “agreed to take on this role and shape the future success of Cooper Gay in Australia and New Zealand.”
He also noted that he has “been with Cooper Gay for six years and is widely recognized for his attention to service, innovative broking solutions and excellent market relationships.”
