Ironshore Europe Makes 3 Executive Appointments for London Office

Ironshore Europe Limited announced three executive appointments in its London office, effective immediately, “to align management leadership with business development opportunities within European markets,” according to Fiona Marry, CEO of Ironshore Europe.

Peter Coleman, who joined Ironshore at its inception in 2007 to head Bermuda Property, has been invited to join the board of Ironshore Europe Ltd. He is based in London, and will also serve as the international divisional director of Ironshore Property, responsible for oversight of the respective business lines in the European and Bermuda offices.

John Newton has been appointed branch manager of Ironshore Europe’s London office. In addition to overseeing branch office activity, he will continue to be responsible for product innovation initiatives across all companies within the Ironshore International Group.

Mark Hill has been named the Deputy Branch Manager of Ironshore Europe’s London office, reporting to Newton. He will continue to oversee the underwriting of Ironshore Europe’s Specialty Casualty book of business.

“Ironshore Europe’s market presence has grown significantly across all business lines since the entity was established last year, headquartered in Dublin,”Marry stated. “These key executive appointments bring an experienced management team to our London office to further build upon strategic expansion opportunities throughout the European platform.”
