Charlotte, N.C.-based insurance consultancy InStrategy Group has appointed Robert Jones as managing director to lead the group’s retail practice.
Jones has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. The majority of his career has been on the retail agency side of the business having served as a producer, risk management consultant, sales manager, agency principal and division leader. He also held senior level sales and marketing positions with several national carriers. He joins InStrategy from Cleveland, Ohio-based Oswald Companies, where he served as middle market practice leader.
The consulting firm was founded a year ago by Gregg Calestini, CEO, who was formerly with Mercator Risk Services. InStrategy targets mid-size retailers, managing general agencies, wholesalers, retailers and third-party groups
InStrategy Group has offices in Charlotte, Boston and Cleveland.
