Hub International Adds Colo. Employee Benefit Specialists

Hub International Limited reported the acquisition of the assets of Employee Benefit Specialists Inc. (EBS), an employee benefits brokerage serving the state of Colorado.

The acquired business, based in Denver, will become part of Hub International Southwest (HUB Southwest), and integrated with HUB Southwest’s Colorado employee benefits practice.

Employee Benefit Specialists is a provider of employee benefits coverage to businesses throughout Colorado, generating approximately $2.2 million in revenue in 2004. Alan Curtis, PhD, previously EBS chief executive officer, will lead the benefits practice of HUB Southwest in Colorado and will join Hub International’s best practices group for employee benefits.
