Island Insurance Co. Ltd., Hawaii’s largest locally owned and managed property and casualty insurance carrier, has expanded its current multi-policy discount to include an additional discount on homeowners insurance.
Policyholders who maintain both homeowners and personal auto policies with Island Insurance are eligible to receive an additional 7 percent discount on their homeowners premium in addition to its current $50 per vehicle discount on personal auto policies. Condominium and renters policies are also eligible and there is no maximum number of vehicles that would qualify for the personal auto discount.
John Schapperle, president and chief operating officer of Island Insurance, said, “The expansion to include an additional homeowners discount is our way of thanking our customers for their loyalty in having both policies with Island.”
